Warranty

Every METClean machine has a warranty, and what it covers differs by model. Here’s each one, what it depends on and how to make a claim.

Warranty by machine

Cover differs between machines, so we never use one warranty sentence for the whole range. The machines that MET fits and commissions have an engineer to site where a fault can’t be fixed with our help remotely; the V is repaired at the MET factory; the self-installed machines are covered for parts.

METClean E
12 months, parts only
METClean S
12 months, with an engineer to site where self-help isn’t possible
METClean V
12 months, parts and labour at the MET factory
METClean XL Multi+
12 months, with an engineer to site where self-help isn’t possible
METClean DPF Lite
One-year parts-only warranty for business buyers
METClean WashPRO
12 months, parts only

What the warranty covers

Parts only
Faulty parts are covered and labour isn’t, and MET supports you remotely in finding the fault. This applies to the E, the WashPRO and the DPF Lite.
Parts and labour at the factory
The machine comes back to the MET factory, where parts and labour are covered. This applies to the V.
Engineer to site
We work through the fault with you first, and send an engineer to your site where self-help isn’t possible. This applies to the S and the XL Multi+.

The DPF Lite warranty applies to business buyers. Your order confirms the terms for your machine.

What cover depends on

Warranty cover depends on following the safety and operating instructions for your machine. That means trained operators, the right supply and air pressure, the daily checks and filter maintenance, and electrical work left to a qualified electrician.

Keep the operating instructions that came with your machine, and keep a note of maintenance and water changes. It makes any claim quicker to settle.

Service and extended warranty plans

Service and extended warranty plans are available for every model. Ask us for the details that apply to your machine, either when you order or once it’s running.

Making a claim

Contact us by phone or email with your machine model and its serial number, photos and a description of what happened. If the machine is unsafe to use, isolate it and leave it isolated until we reply.

We’ll work through the fault with you first. If it’s covered and can’t be fixed that way, we arrange the repair under your model’s terms.
