What we collect
When you ask for a quote or a demonstration, we collect what you enter in the form. When you email yourself a projection from the profit calculator, we collect your email address, the figures you chose and whether you ticked the box asking us to follow up.

- The machine you’re interested in and your message
- For demonstrations, where and when would suit you
We use your network address only briefly, in memory, to limit repeated submissions. It isn’t stored with your enquiry.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, send the projection you asked for and arrange what you’ve asked for. We contact you about a projection only if you ticked the follow-up box. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps you’ve asked for before any contract.
We don’t sell your information or use it for automated decisions about you.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Enquiries are stored in a Google Cloud database in the London region, which only our website server can read and write. An email alert with your enquiry is sent to the MET team who handle it.
Our hosting, database and email providers process information on our behalf under their contract terms. Our network provider, Cloudflare, sees website traffic in order to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics only if you allow analytics cookies. Without your consent, no analytics or advertising tags load. Analytics never receives the contents of your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep quote, demonstration and projection enquiries for two years from our last contact with you, then delete them. Backups are deleted on a fixed schedule.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable form. Email us at the address above to make a request.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
