All that driving about
Before the V, every DPF Aaron took off a vehicle had to go to an outside cleaning firm. That meant driving it over, waiting for it, then driving back again, and none of that time could go on anything else.
With his own machine, the cleaning is simply part of the job. He no longer has to plan his day around somebody else.
A team he already knew
Aaron wasn’t new to MET. He was already one of our remapping agents, so he knew how the team worked and what the support was like long before a cleaning machine came up. He’d seen the machines in person too, which made it easier to judge whether a V would suit his business.
And the buying part? Straightforward, he says, with no pushy sales.
A day at MET HQ
Aaron brought his van to MET HQ for the installation and stayed to learn how to use the machine. That hands-on start mattered: he went home ready to use it on customers’ filters.
“I spent most of the day learning about the machine and felt confident from day one.”
Where it fits now
The V gives Aaron one more service to offer next to his mechanical work, and he works with other garages in the area too. For him, the big thing is that the cleaning stays in his own hands, alongside the rest of the job.
When the flow needed a look
At one point Aaron had concerns about the machine’s flow. He got on a video call with Sy, they went through the adjustments together, and the machine was back up and running.
“Being able to do this in-house has saved me time.”
